Vice-Chairman of China Filmmakers Association, President of China Film Literature Society and State-level Writer

Wang Xingdong, male, was born in Dalian, Liaoning Province in May 1951. Beijing Forbidden City Film Company, First-Class Film Writer, Executive Vice President and President of the Chinese Film Literature Society; Director of the Chinese Filmmakers Association, Chinese Television Association, Member of the Chinese Minority Writers Association, Director of the Chinese Xiayan Film Society; Visiting Professor of the Beijing Film Academy. In December 1997, he was selected as the first young and middle-aged artist with both virtue and art by the Chinese Federation of Literature. He enjoys special allowances from the State Council and is a member of the Ninth, Tenth and Eleventh CPPCC National Committee.
