Chen Changhai was born in Shenyang, Liaoning Province in 1976. In 2002, he graduated from the Department of Fine Arts of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts and got his undergraduate degree. In 1999, the sculpture "Northern Youth" (self-statue forged bronze) was selected as the Eighth National Art exhibition; in 2012, the sculpture "Wu Luojun" (the ancestor of Hakka, located in the Hakka ancestral home garden of Ninghua, Fujian); in 2017, the oil painting "Girls and Stone Lions" was selected as the outstanding award of the American Oil Painting Acrylic Painting Association Autumn International Competition.
