French Grand Cross knight medalist
Shi Zhonggui, a Chinese painter who is getting well-known in the Western art circles in recent years. Over the years, he watched loneliness, hard work, step by step from China to the world. His works penetrated Japan from Southeast Asia, staged Paris, knocked on Switzerland, advanced Spain, infiltrated London, and then turned to Germany. He had 12 solo exhibitions in Europe and five of them successfully in France and welcomed him everywhere Give flowers and praise. He wrote the name of a Chinese artist into France with a brand new vision of painting, color, and creativity. Due to his outstanding contribution to world art, the French Academy of Arts, Sciences and Letters, in Paris, awarded him the Grand Order of the French Knights of the Cross in 2000, the only Chinese painter of this award since its establishment in 1915.
